#2 - ‘Looking for Stuff’, Platja de Cala Ferrera, the Balearic Sea, Cala d’Or, Majorca

Just the most breathtaking view...walking around the corner and across the white sand. So blue, and such a pretty and secluded little cove. There are loads of these little gems in Majorca and this one was right on the doorstep of our hotel. Pretty quiet too. Holidaying in April has its perks.

It must have been warmer than the English Lake District surely, although without wetsuits it felt equally as challenging. But the water was so clear and glittering with it's sunshine layer that we were distracted enough not to mind quite so much.

It was my first time snorkeling...and it won't be my last. I just need to pluck up the courage to travel to greater depths. I battled with my fear of what lies beneath and 'if I can't see it its not really there', versus a surprising urge to 'check', nay... explore.

We swam here a few times over the week. Each swim equally as beautiful as the one before. What's not to love about the freedom and beauty of the outdoors combined with the warmth of the Balearic sunshine and the smell of mixed sun cream products? Take me back...
